Believe it or not, but it is so. If you ask me, one idea occurred to me: I wanted to write about several brightest examples of blatant platitude in the present day American movies which I happened to see passingly for the last several weeks, but nothing positive was in this idea, so I’ve left it. The circle of my interests is small, alas, and very soon I’ll have nothing positive to write about.
Apropos, dear Alec, in your latest blog post you declared yourself as something like a drug-addict. Stunning. Are you serious believing that anybody believe you?

Congrats. on the Death in Venice reference.
As good a Venetian film as Don't Look Now - Dirk B was tremendous, as was the score and the cinematography, an on-screen rendition of so many Turners.
Hope the Muse returns pronto (as evidently it did if your two later posts are anything to go by).
