*the colour of your skys*
“I happened to see the incredibly blue southern sky. It was beautiful. But the steel-blue, plumbeous, gray, violet, dove-coloured and pearl or dilute blue northern sky can be a magnificent view and a great experience too. I know two places in the town I live in, where one can admire the scud, where the sky is high and can be visible to the skyline--an exciting experience to me--and there are more than two such places in the town. An interesting fact: when going out I walk in a certain direction, a new panorama of the scud of beautiful cumuli in the sky opens at every new turn; and when I go back home, I as though turn back to the high sky, and on the way home I can see only the walls, coigns and angles of the high old and new buildings before my eyes. That’s a mere coincidence, of course, a play of modern architecture and the rough landscape; the sky has not disappeared, it still is overhead, but I hardly can see it among the buildings, and it seems amusing. Windy day today; the dove-coloured and white cumuli scudding, and the sky is now heavily clouded now half clear…” I wrote these phenological notes in August. Now, in September the sky is heavy clouded, gray a day long, and most likely it will be so till April. Some people are so annoyed with that. Me--not in the least.
Oh musings, where is your sweetness? I tend my garden. My pages, dedicated to books, writing and cher Maitre; the friends list; it all look as usual. The vast cyberspace seems to be rather small and cozy. But I digress…

*Wind of Time*
prose poem
The sun will be, the sea will be--will be the time to approach, forgive and receive. The sky and wind don’t argue about the morning, or think of what was lost, or remember our shadows on the sand. Waves’ washed off our footprints and memory. The shadows go into the sand of oblivion. You smile at them. Leaves turn yellow. I am for ever one like a shore. And you are like a wind, a squall of tenderness. Anything will be. Like the morning after what was inevitable and enviable. Almost neglectfully--one loves like this when awaking--almost neglectfully you will love the sun and the sky. Only time will be other.

*poem found on the Net*
“Gods send down the rain to hide all my tears.
I won't feel loved for a lot of years.
Gods know my heart, they know my soul,
they know I want a man who I can love and hold.”

"I am very fond of cats. I will let this figure scratch on the chart. The starry sky has worried me quite enough in my life, so that now I can have my joke with it," French astronomer Joseph de La Lande (1732–1807) created the constellation from stars found between Antlia, the air pump, and Hydra, the sea serpent. Felis appeared on several star atlases but was never widely accepted and never become an official constellation.

I must admit that I do not much like the grey grey grey sky when it is just a heavy lid on the world because I do like to see some shapes in the clouds or a bit of sun poking through but soon all the leaves will go yellow and that will brighten things up a bit I reckon
